5:00pm: Doors open at the Saxonia Biergarten (located outside under the trees at the back of the hall)
Food available: Sausage on a bun with fries & sauerkraut - $25, incl. HST (order ahead or purchase day of)
Included in Weekend Pass ($125/person). Children under 10 are free.
Vegan and gluten free meal available, please indicate when ordering your tickets.
Dirndls & Lederhosen or your FIFA team’s football jersey encouraged!
Saturday, July 11th
Afternoon Activities
1:00pm: Paulaner & Hacker-Pschorr German Beer tasting & food pairings in the Saxonia Lounge
Taste 6 Paulaner & Hacker-Pschorr beers paired with small bites of food, featuring expert explanation by a Paulaner representative. Learn their history and how their beers are crafted. $20/person, incl. HST (NOT included in Saturday Heimattag fee or Weekend Pass, must be reserved in advance - found in the “Extras” section of the ticket order form).
1:00pm - 4:00pm: Saxonia Biergarten open (no admission fee required)
Heimattag Banquet
$60/person, incl. HST
Included in Weekend Pass ($125/person). Children under 10 are free.
5:00pm: Doors open at the Saxonia Hall
6:00pm: Dinner followed by cultural performances
Dance to follow
Meal: Cabbage rolls & roast beef with mashed potatoes, salads, dinner roll, vegetables, coffee/tea, and dessert. Served buffet style.
Vegan and gluten free meal available, please indicate when ordering your tickets.
Semi-Formal dinner attire or Tracht encouraged.
Sunday, July 12th
Church Service, Rally & Lunch
10:30am: Worship Service begins at St. John’s Lutheran Church (448 Talbot St W, Aylmer, ON N5H 1L1)
11:00am: Trachtenumzug Parade to Saxonia Hall
(The church is about a 10 minute walk down the street from the Saxonia Hall. If you will be walking in the parade, please park at the hall and walk to the church for the service. If you will not be walking in the parade, you can park at the church and then drive to the hall. The road will be briefly closed by the town for the parade.)
11:30am: Kundgebung | Cultural Rally -Saxonia Hall
12:30pm: Lunch
$45/person, incl. HST (For Lunch only - no admission required for church service or Kundgebung/Cultural Rally)
Included in Weekend Pass ($125/person). Children under 10 are free.
Meal: Schnitzel with warm german potato salad, Saxonia Hall green salad, dinner roll, vegetables, coffee/tea, and dessert. Served buffet style.
